Our Team
Rachel Eva Dew, DNM, PhD
Dr. Rachel Dew is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 25 years in the health, content, and tech spaces. Dr. Dew got her start working at TKDP, an Addy Award Winning marketing communications firm and quickly rose to head of accounts. She worked closely with both technology clients and oversaw the entire production and design teams to execute strategy and vision for companies such as Sigma Tau Pharmaceuticals and World Space.
Dr. Dew’s first startup venture was Single Parent Magazine, one of the first internet-based publications in 1999 and an award-winning digital magazine.
Dr. Dew’s next startup venture was opening a brick-and-mortar whole person wellness center, Total Body Center. This was the beginnings of the ModiHealth concept. The center offered whole person care with wellness practitioners, fitness and wellness classes as well as concierge memberships and online class streaming. Dr. Dew quickly discovered that this model was not effective in sustaining long term growth or penetrating the full market potential due to limits of high price points driven by overhead expenses as well as geographical limitations of in-person care. She began transitioning to an online platform.
During the transition, Dr. Dew founded the online school, Integrative Wellness Academy (IWA) where over 10,000 students worldwide have been trained and certified as Integrative Wellness & Life Coaches. Dr. Dew developed the proprietary Integrative Life Coaching Model, which integrates diverse training in life coaching, wellness, psychology, behavior modification, and healing techniques. This venture required an extensive online platform buildout and content production, the mastery of which led Dr. Dew to partner with ModiHealth’s co-founder, Dr. Randall Wright and build out the ModiHealth platform.

After enduring multiple devastating personal Dortha lost her voice, literally. She thought it was a simple case of laryngitis or bronchitis…as it turns out, it was not simple… She was diagnosed with a neurological condition called Abductor Spasmodic Dysphonia (“AB SD”).
AB SD prevented Dortha from using the phone or speaking normally or being easily heard in a room with a lot of ambient noise. While this presented challenges to Dortha, she is grateful for this experience as it has heightened her sense of hearing, most importantly, her ability to listen deeply. Dortha now a certified Integrative Life Coach and Somatic Practitioner, teaches others to do the same and bring about entire mind shifts and personal transformation of those who lead, helping them serve the world at their best.
